air travel

Licenciado Gustavo Díaz Ordaz International Airport (PVR)

Puerto Vallarta's international airport is about 30 minutes from Garza Blanca, depending on traffic. Most major U.S. cities offer direct or one-stop flights.

We recommend arriving Thursday, May 6 or early Friday, May 7 to settle in before the welcome dinner. If you need help coordinating arrivals, reach out and we'll connect you with other guests.

ground transportation

Shuttles, Taxi & Uber

Official airport taxis and pre-arranged shuttles are the easiest way to reach the resort. Uber is also available in Puerto Vallarta and works well for getting around town.

Garza Blanca can arrange private airport transfers — ask the front desk when you arrive, or we'll share recommended shuttle contacts closer to the date.

Rental Car

Rental cars are available at the airport if you'd like flexibility to explore Banderas Bay. Parking is available at the resort. Driving in PV is manageable, though we find most guests prefer shuttles or rideshare for the weekend.
